Novice Working Test
Our
novice test will be held on the 13th July this year. This test is open to dogs
of Instructors, Officers and members dogs whom have attended three training
classes within the proceeding twelve months. A novice dog is one that has not
won an award in a field trial including a certificate of merit or 1st in the
clubs Novice test or a Novice Kennel Club working test.
Senior Working Test
Our Senior working test will be held on the
3rd August this year. This test is open to dogs of Instructors, Officers
and members whom have attended three training classes within the
proceeding twelve months.

The Match
and dinner and Dance will be held on the 6th of September this year. The team to
represent the club will be made up of the first five dogs in order of placing in
the Novice and Senior Tests. If any of the members are unavailable on this date
the next place dogs will be offered a place. All members are welcome to the
Dinner and Dance that is held in the evening. Please come along it is always a
great event that has been going on for over 30 years.
As
you will be aware it is our clubs 40th Anniversary and the committee wanted to
do something a little extra this year in a way of a celebration and a thank you
to all our members, trainers and committee over the years. It was suggested at
the AGM that we hold an animal first aid evening as some of our members had
attended a training course and found it very good, so this is what we have
decided to do. This evening will be held on the 25th October at Wormingford village hall starting at 7.30pm. There will be a buffet
available and as there will be no bar please bring along your own drinks.
The evening will consist of a Veterinary professional giving us information on
first aid for Spaniels, especially working Spaniels, you will be able to get
hands on training and have any questions that you may have answered.
Everyone is welcome to come along to this evening, there will be a small cost
for members and their spouses of £5.00 each and any non members are also welcome
for a cost of £12.00 each. If you would like to come along please complete the
form below and sent it to Chris with your payment before the 1st October as we
will need to arrange the buffet for the correct number of people.
