Our club was founded by several local enthusiast in 1968. We published our first meeting in the Shooting times and had a tremendous response from near and far. Spaniel personalities gave help and advice, also present was Sir Joshua Rowley who gave his support to the club for many years. The club has gone from strength to strength with about 90 members to date, and is quite unique being one of the very few training clubs in the country. We have many members that have gone on in the spaniel world achieving their goals, achieving many awards with their spaniels and some have even gone on to become judges.
